About Us
Who Are We?
We are a team of engineers and patent practitioners in the Washington, DC area. We have backgrounds in Mechanical and Systems Engineering and over a decade of experience in engineering management and design. As innovative individuals we formed FEAT, LLC as an outlet to channel our creative concepts and house our patent portfolio while we continue to invent, license and build prototypes.
What Are We Doing?
As the holders of several patents and patent pending inventions we are continuously refining the ideas in our mind's eye and putting pen to paper to protect our ideas. Our team has patent practitioners (Patent Agents and Attorneys who can file patents on behalf of organizations before the USPTO) but we have decided to pursue our own ideas for the time being. Our primary goal is to develop and build our inventions, time-permitting. However, we are not opposed to partnering with or licensing to corporations in analogous arts who are interested in developing with us or more readily able to manufacture separately.
When Should You Contact Us?
Please contact us if you see something you like in our portfolio and wish to partner with us, invest in us, or license from us. As patent practitioners we are aware that many of our concepts are prescient, often filed under the First to Invent rules of the USPTO which predated the First Inventor to File provisions of the AIA, and that some are in fields that are currently burgeoning (including but not limited to sensors to enhance virtual reality technology like our patent pending education based virtual reality treadmills). Our team patents inventions and innovations to be a part of that growth and not be used as an instrument to stifle them.
